《书包太重》 My School Daze

我还记得读书时代最想逃避的不是上课, 而是带过重的书包去上课! 《书包太重》其实探讨了一些当下的教育问题,听起来虽说很严肃，但其实跟大众喜爱的《小孩不笨》一样的精彩、现实、感人。

故事讲述了资深老师谭向春（陈汉玮饰）、太太康巧珍（郭舒贤饰）、和麻辣老师张洛芸（瑞恩饰）身为教育者个别的教育法。谭老师从没想过要为了出位省级而教书，只会按部就班的做好本分，把学生教好就是他最好的收获。太太巧珍是一位刚离职的课本写作者。为了能掌握自己的时间，她决定开一间补习中心来教学生们中文，可惜她却不被其他的补习老师和家长看好。张老师呢是一位青春美貌、大受学生欢迎的老师。她善用花招来获取学生欢心，跟谭老师的教育法完全相反。

在怀才不遇的状况下，谭老师黯然离开母语教师的岗位，加入太太巧珍的邻里补习中心。原本想在教育界平步青云的张老师也在伤害了师生关系和升迁无望的情况下离职，加入巧珍的补习中心。张老师鼓吹精英教育，谭老师却坚持有教无类，结果张老师另起炉灶，成立只限精英的高档补习中心...

这部剧除了有陈汉玮、郭舒贤及瑞恩，还有曹国辉饰演弟弟谭向风、林明伦与许美珍饰演一对夫妇、陈天文、林梅娇等人参演。

I still remember how the thing I would love to avoid the most in my school days were not the classes but bringing too heavy a bag to school! "My School Daze" talks about various current Education problems, though it might sound a bit heavy, it's actually very much like "I'm Not Stupid", an interesting, realistic and touching favourite among all.

The story revolves around a serious schoolteacher Tham XiangChun (Chen HanWei), his wife Kang QiaoZhen (Ann Kok), and vivacious schoolteacher Zhang LuoYun (Rui En) who are educators with very different teaching styles. Mr. Tham is someone who has never thought about teaching for the sake of being promoted. He only teaches to his best ability, with the students succeeding being his reward. His wife QiaoZhen used to write textbooks, until she decided to open a tuition centre teaching Chinese so she could have more time to herself and her family. Miss Zhang is a young and beautiful teacher who is well loved by all her students. Her way of teaching is to reward the students with various gifts, the exact opposite of how Mr. Tham teaches his students.

Although he's really talented, Mr. Tham missed various opportunities to perform in his position in school and he decides to leave, joining his wife in her tuition centre. The well loved Miss Zhang also incidentally ruined her teacher-student ties in school and resigned to join QiaoZhen's tuition centre. While Miss Zhang insists on teaching elite students, Mr. Tham believes that everyone should have an equal chance to learn. Miss Zhang then decides to leave and open her own elite tuition centre...

Other than Chen WeiHan, Ann Kok & Rui En, this drama also has Terence Cao as younger brother Tham XiangFeng, Darren Lim & Cynthia Koh as a couple, Chen TianWen, Lin MeiJiao, etc.
