Who's Your Favourite Crossings Character?

Finally some Katie and Danny boy action from last week's episode of Crossings!

You know, I think to myself sometimes that if I were asked to pick a favorite character from "Crossings", who would it be... and up till this day, I still can't decide.

I love Bob cause he does these funny little actions when he gets a new spirit in him: first it was speaking in Punjab from episode 1, then it's his uncontrollable hair twirling in episode 2!

Then there's Anthony who I can't say I don't love since the very first time I saw the trailer! His "Mr. Chin~ why so long never call~" will forever ring in my head and make me laugh when I think about it!

I don't know... can you guys pick a favorite character so far?

So, going back to the series, Zakizamani Osman shared in the press conference for Crossings a few weeks back on how he acted as a transexual in one of the episodes and uh huh, that episode is coming up THIS FRIDAY (15/10)! pssst... Antoine might have just found his match!

As for Danny boy whose character didn't really come out in his episode 2 debut, I'm seeing much more of his Danny self in episode 3. Watch out as he turns into eye candy for all the ladies, and make us all ponder at his little unexplainable relationship with Katie... Hmm...

And here's something else I've been wondering about... did you know that if you miss any of the Crossings episodes, you can actually watch them on www.tonton.com.my? Just thought you guys might have not known :) There are even deleted scenes and added bloopers on it, which I'm sure you'll love cause I definitely find pleasure in em'!

Crossings Episode 3 will be airing this Friday (15/10) at 8.30pm!

Crossings The Series

It's been a while since there has been a locally produced English series, and the last one I remember is probably Ghost on 8TV. Well now, there's going to be a new dark comedy series called "Crossings"!

Now if you're wondering what Crossings is about, Crossings is about Bob Boroi, a loser in life who aspires to be something better (Gerard Butler perhaps, you'll understand why in the first episode). So one day, on the way home, Bob meets with a freak accident and wakes up to find that the person he sees in his reflection is not his own! These "people" he sees have unfinished business and Bob is given the responsibility to help them settle the unfinished business before they can move on.

Now, a little about the interesting characters in Crossings:

Bob Boroi (Zakizamani Osman)
A loser, Bob works in Merlin Advertising as a copywriter.

Katie short for Katijah (Dira Abu Zahar)
Not your average girl, Katie is a tomboyish filmmaker who helps Bob in his quest to help the dead.

Daniel / Danny Boy (Hansen Lee)
A geek who doesn't look like one, Danny loves inventing things and believes his ghost hunting contraptions can detect spirits and help Bob.

Anthony / Antoine (Xavier Fong)
The queen receptionist in Merlin Advertising, Antoine is Brenda's good friend and he might remind you of Marc from Ugly Betty.

Brenda (Ruzana Ibrahim)
The hot chick in the office, Brenda uses her looks to make people do things for her (by people I mean Bob).

Miss Merlin (Nina Sharil Khan)
Sharp with her words, Miss Merlin is the boss/owner of Merlin Advertising.

Sifu Chun (Yalal Chin)
A Chinese sinseh Bob consults, and surprisingly the father of Danny.

My take on Crossings is, it's a quirky series with a tinge of the supernatural--cue dark comedy. The angles in which the stories are told keeps you wondering in each episode. Plus, there's a lineup of amazing guests actors in the series! People like Craig Fong (Kopitiam), Indy Nadarajah (Setem), Yvonne Sim (FHM Girl Next Door Winner), and Alan Yun (Sepet).

Crossings premieres on 1st October 2010 (Friday) @ 8.30pm, on ntv7 your home of feel good. If you missed the series, you can watch it again on www.ntv7.com.my or www.tonton.com.my :)

p/s: you can get the latest updates from the official Crossings twitter or ntv7's twitter too!
