Let's recap on Season 6's finale:
The husband of a patient is angered by the death of his wife because he was promised that she would live. He carried a gun and he walked into Grace Mercy West, shooting 18 people including Derek Shepherd (Patrick Damsey).
Following the traumatic incident, the doctors are back to work in this season's opening. Although they seem ready to jump back into being a surgeon again, they have to go through a counselor who will need to assess each one's mental state. Only one rule applies here, get the green light and you'll get to operate.
You can never get enough of Grey's Anatomy, cause there's so much to expect from this new season. Cristina and Owen's relationship take a big change (this one's interesting to watch), Derek's a changed man after getting shot, Lexie suffers a nervous breakdown from the incident (another interesting one to look for) and April goes back to her perk-annoying self, being cast as a regular on the show now.
Slowly bringing the cast out of the seriousness of Season 6's finale, Season 7's opening was very well woven together. The writer tells you the questions you've been dying to know, like what happened Meridith's baby in a very subtle and simple way, while mapping out the new storyline in store for Season 7.
So if you missed the team then you better tune in this Saturday (21/5) at 10pm cause Grey's Anatomy is back!

Dance like Nobody's Watching - Dansa II
Eeek, did the blog grow a little moss while I was away? Sorry about the lack of updates since the last post, I've been busy with a lot of stuff, not involving picking out a favourite shoe in case you were wondering...
But I'm back and I'm going to bring you behind the scenes of our latest Press Conference for Dansa II!
So the PR team was all over the place before the press conference, as usual they had to make sure everything was running fine before we introduced the Season 2 of this well loved Dance/Travel Program.
The moment I reached Full House in Sunway Giza, one of the PR peeps was in a full decked baju melayu! Turns out, he was going to host the press conference and had to dress to suit the cultural themed event.
All over the stage were mannequins in respective cultural costumes featured in Dansa II. I can't name you each one but what I can name you are some of the places the Dansa crew went to film--Thailand, Taiwan and Macau! *envy*
These beautiful portraits were lined all around the otherwise plain room, kinda reminds you of an art gallery doesn't it? Made me feel like standing and admiring each portrait while wondering what went on in that particular scene.
You know, during the press conference, Dansa II's host Sasha Bashir was actually having a fever. But because of her passion for dance and culture, she pressed on a gave a wonderful opening performance. It is with this sort of commitment that the tagline for Dansa shines even more: Dance like nobody's watching.
She's not the kind to fall back or give up; but chooses to press on and learn a new dance despite the difficulties. It's that realism and determination in her that makes me want to watch as she travels and makes the most of it. Well, it's also cause she visits the nicest places like Macau!
Dansa II will be aired every Thursday at 7.30pm, from the 10th of March 2011!

Who's Your Favourite Crossings Character?
Finally some Katie and Danny boy action from last week's episode of Crossings!
You know, I think to myself sometimes that if I were asked to pick a favorite character from "Crossings", who would it be... and up till this day, I still can't decide.
I love Bob cause he does these funny little actions when he gets a new spirit in him: first it was speaking in Punjab from episode 1, then it's his uncontrollable hair twirling in episode 2!
Then there's Anthony who I can't say I don't love since the very first time I saw the trailer! His "Mr. Chin~ why so long never call~" will forever ring in my head and make me laugh when I think about it!
I don't know... can you guys pick a favorite character so far?
So, going back to the series, Zakizamani Osman shared in the press conference for Crossings a few weeks back on how he acted as a transexual in one of the episodes and uh huh, that episode is coming up THIS FRIDAY (15/10)! pssst... Antoine might have just found his match!
As for Danny boy whose character didn't really come out in his episode 2 debut, I'm seeing much more of his Danny self in episode 3. Watch out as he turns into eye candy for all the ladies, and make us all ponder at his little unexplainable relationship with Katie... Hmm...
And here's something else I've been wondering about... did you know that if you miss any of the Crossings episodes, you can actually watch them on www.tonton.com.my? Just thought you guys might have not known :) There are even deleted scenes and added bloopers on it, which I'm sure you'll love cause I definitely find pleasure in em'!
Crossings Episode 3 will be airing this Friday (15/10) at 8.30pm!

The Deep End
Over a thousand applicants, only four are chosen to be the lucky ones to join Sterling, Huddle, Oppenheim & Craft the most prestigous law firm in Los Angeles. Then again, was the word lucky?
Dylan Hewitt (Matt Long), Elizabeth "Beth" Brandford (Leah Pipes), Liam Priory (Ben Lawson), and Adelaide "Addy" Fisher (Tina Majorino) are the "lucky" first year associates handpicked to join Sterling, and join a life of being doormats until they learn how to swim when thrown into the deep end.
Dylan is the philanthropist the company, the one who always tries his best to do the right thing, and it gets paid off, eventually. Beth is the rich girl, daughter of a lawyer whose harsh ways she cannot agree with. Liam is the player, stating in the interview that he became a lawyer to meet women. And finally we have Addy, the polite girl who gets pushed around by the partners, and everyone else.
Now, here's a little tidbit: the series was created by David Hemingson, co-producer of "How I Met Your Mother" and "Lie To Me". David used to be a law graduate himself, and that's how he came up with The Deep End.
What I like about the series is the interaction between the characters and how each of them have this underlying storyline. Their characters have distinct personalities and I personally love Addy :)
While reviews for the series might be mixed, I still think it's worth a watch! Similar genres include Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy.
The Deep End will be airing on Tuesdays @ 8.30pm starting from the 17th of August 2010.

Grey's Anatomy Season 6
After ending the last season with a cilffhanger where the life and death of George and Izzie were left with a huge question mark, this season opens to reveal what fans might have feared. But I won't spoil it for you.
With the ups and downs and complicated relationships the doctors of Seattle Grace Hospital face, this season will probably give closures to some open ended wounds. For fans of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, there's also a crossover episode in store!
If you want to know what happened to George and Izzie, remember to catch the return of Grey's Anatomy tomorrow (6th August) on ntv7, Saturdays @ 10pm
Dirtier, Sexier and Monier
L-R: Jeremy Darling, Nola Lyons, Patrick Darling, Brian Darling, Karen Darling, Simon Elder, Letitia Darling, Tripp Darling, Nick George & Lisa George.
An unimaginably lavish lifestyle wasn't what family lawyer Nick George asked for, but being the Darling's Family Lawyer opened up doors to experience wealth.... and the dirt behind it.
Back with a second season, Dirty Sexy Money is said to be "Dirtier, Sexier and Monier". Now if you haven't watched Season 1 of Dirty Sexy Money, let me backtrack a little and introduce the various characters to you.
We have Nick George, the family lawyer and his wife Lisa George; along with the Darling family made up of Husband Patrick "Tripp" Darling, Wife Letitia Darling (pronounced le-ti-shia), Eldest Son Patrick Darling, Eldest Daughter Karen Darling, Middle Child Brian Darling, and half of the fraternal twins Son Jeremy Darling. To spice things up a little more, Nola Lyons (played by Lucy Liu) was also added to the cast as another attorney who goes up against Nick, and reoccurring antagonist Simon Elder.
So what makes season two dirtier, sexier and monier?
Season two opens with a death in the Darling family where one family member is suspected of murder. Karen subsequently shows up in Nick's office because she's afraid her relationship with Simon Elder is getting serious, and Jeremy can't forget about Lisa and the kiss they shared in the first season. If that's not exciting enough for you, the ultimate question we're all asking will be brought up--"Who was the culprit behind Nick's father Devlin "Dutch" George's death that placed him in the position as the Darling family's lawyer in the first place?"
Dirty Sexy Money Season 2 will be airing on ntv7 starting this Saturday, 7th August 2010 @ 11pm!

V are Here!
I'm sure many onlookers were surprised to see some green faced aliens walking amongst us last Thursday (15th July) at the e@Curve, Damansara. They were spotted at McDonalds buying food, and even lurking around the cinema area!

L-R: Sam Tan (ADK), Airin Zainul (ntv7 GM), Calveen Chou (Toshiba Head of AV, Product Marketing), Emilya Abd Rahim (ntv7 Urban Content Brand Manager)
Now before we all get excited about an alien invasion, it was the press screening for the U.S. hit series "V" that took place in Cathay Cineplexes that attracted these half mutants to the venue.
Sponsored by Toshiba, this sci-fi series had the highest rated series debut when it opened in the U.S. and ntv7 is proud to announce it's premier in Malaysia!

Gathering of the half mutants.
In ntv7's very own General Manager's words “The series has garnered an impressive following in the U.S. and Canada, with the highest rated series debut, ranking first within the time period and we hope Malaysian viewers will enjoy the enthralling storyline as much.”
Now I don't know what you might think of the series, but you know what I think? I'd say it's been a long time since I've watched something that left me craving for more.
"V" is on every Saturday @ 8.30pm starting on the 24th of July.

Revisiting "V"

Some thought they were saviors, others didn't know what to make of them, but only a handful knew of their true motives...
The Visitors landed on 29 major cities across the world, and their beautiful leader Anna (Morena Baccarin) promises that they come in peace, wanting to only exchange their knowledge with the human race.
While most are amazed with the technology these Visitors have, many still question the true motives of their sudden arrival. A series of unexplainable events bring FBI counter-terrorism agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) to realize who these Visitors really are. But while Erica joins the resistance movement against the "V"s; her Tyler (Logan Huffman) has already signed up to serve as an ambassador for the "V"s, only he doesn't know what he truly signed up for--to be a spy.
With a sterling cast like Elizabeth Mitchell (acted in Lost, ER, The Lyons Den, The Linda McCartney Story), Morris Chestnut (Boyz in the Hood, The Earnest Green Story, G.I. Jane), Lourdes Benedicto (NYPD Blue, Titans, The Nine, 24, ER) , Joel Gretsch (The 4400, The Legend of Bagger Vance, Minority Report, Taken), Scott Wolf (Party of Five, Everwood, Emmet’s Mark, White Squall), Laura Vandervoort (Smallville, Into The Blue 2, CSI) and Morena Baccarin (Firefly, Serenity, Heartland, The O.C.), V is set to be a riveting series.
Catch this amazing remake of the 1983 miniseries "V" premiering for the first time on Malaysian television. Don't miss "V", every Saturday, 8.30pm starting 24th July, only at ntv7. Brought to you by Toshiba and ntv7 :)
