The Great Adventure

I've always loved Francis Ng, to me he's a really versatile actor who can act nice, evil, crazy, you name it! I was actually quite excited to see "The Great Adventure" feature familiar names like Francis Ng (Infernal Affairs 2, Triumph in the Skies), Flora Chan (Healing Hands, Triumph in the Skies), and Wong Chi Wah (To Catch The Uncatchable)--seriously, what are the odds?!

Fan Sau Mong (Francis Ng) grew up in Guang Zhou and moved to Hong Kong when he was younger. Greatly influenced by his father who's a Chinese Medicinal Doctor, he always believed that the world was full of hope. As long as everyone helped each other and looked out for one another, the world would be a better place.

Sau Mong grew up and lived a simple yet fulfilled life working as the assistant manager in a bank. All was fine until his father, after signing up as a guarantor for a friend that took off, was now in great debt. In order to settle his father's debts, Sau Mong agreed to help his neighbor in return for some money. From there, his simple fate changed.

As he went through various hardships, Sau Mong found the risk taker inside of him. One day, he meets Bak Woot (Wong Chi Wah), who is a genius mathematician and they soon realize that they complimented each other in terms of brains and guts, so they teamed up and started to build an empire of wealth.

Coming from the same writer who wrote "At The Threshold of an Era", "The Great Adventure" is definitely going to be an exciting drama to watch! It airs every Monday to Friday @ 2.30pm, from the 7th of October 2010.
