《诡雾山城》 Mystique Valley

(Top L-R): Hishiko Woo, Alice Yap, Executive Producer Stanley Law, ntv7 Chinese Brand Manager Lai Cheah Yee, Jess Teong, Susan Leong, Ng Kim Ying, Mandy Chong. (Bottom L-R): Eric Chen, Elvis Chin, Jordan Voon

It was 10.30am in the morning and I was headed over to Full House at Sunway Giza for a press conference. As I walked up, it felt surreal to see these veteran actors lounging around the little made-up garden area outside Full House, all part of the cast of "Mystique Valley", whose story revolves around a family who runs a timber business.

Susan Leong (one of the Best Supporting Actress nominees in the Golden Awards) plays the hard and strong old lady of the He (pronounced Her) family, and her preference for her son over her daughter has created much tension among her children. Being the only son, He ZhongXiong (played by Eric Chen ) is made the head of the family, however he struggles to keep up with expectations and is seen as a pushover by his power-hungry uncle He XinJin (played by Best Supporting Actor nominee Jordan Voon).

He XinJin would do anything to fulfil his greed for power, and when ZhongXiong's elder sister CanQing (played by Jess Teong) comes back after many years to help her brother with the family business, he feels that his place is threatened.

What will happen to the He family now that CanQing is back? Follow "Mystique Valley" as the story unfolds and brings to light all the dark hidden secrets of each family member.

Mystique Valley premieres on the 9th of November 2010 @ 10pm! You can also watch ntv7 on Astro Channel 107.
