Happy Wabbity New Year

Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Well it's a little late but hey, Chinese New Year spans 15 days right? So that's 15 days of celebrations, 15 days to collect Ang Paos and 15 days of cookies, snacks, and good food! No complaints there :)

But this year's Chinese New Year is one of my favourites, I mean look at the cute bunnies all over the malls as deco! Besides, my lil pet rabbit Grey gets to appear as part of the celebrations too!

Well the other special thing about this year's Chinese New Year was that ntv7 had it's very first CNY telemovie called "The Superb Match Maker". When I watched it for the first time on the first day of CNY, I was really blown away by the beauty of the scenes and the simple yet funny storyline.

I remember watching Pei Xuan talking about her involvement in one of the behind the scenes clips and something she said stuck to my mind. It was this:"Being able to act in this movie leaves me with no regrets for my entire life". I guess she wasn't kidding cause the movie really is something to remember.

The other amazing thing about this movie is the distinct styles of each character and how each has a storyline. I for one am a person who is particular when it comes to the side characters in the movie, and I'd always wish the directors would give the side characters a little more room for development. Well this movie did just that, and it makes me smile to think of the happy endings for each couple.

I know a lot of people have given good reviews to the movie, but if you haven't watched it, don't take our word for it but check it out for yourself HERE. It's going to be on tonton for a limited time until the 25th of Feb so if you're wanting to watch then do it quick!

The DVD version of the movie is going to be out today, so when the rain stops, I'm going out to get it!
