ntv7 and DIGI give entrepreneurs a chance to bring their business ideas to the next level with new reality show
Calling all entrepreneur wannabes! If you’re between 25 to 38 years old, have a great business idea and are raring to go the distance, then don’t miss signing up for DiGi The Next Level. Be a part of the hottest new reality show, sponsored by DiGi and set to air on ntv7, the urbanites’ station of choice, on primetime at 8.30 p.m., Wednesdays, 7th July 2010. Give your best pitch on national television and stand a chance to win RM50,000 to kick start the business of your dreams!
Apart from the cash prize, the winner will also gain hands-on experience on the various aspects of running a business and get 12 months of support post-competition from DiGi. While DiGi The Next Level is the perfect platform to launch dream ventures, owners of existing small to medium business operations are also encouraged to apply.
Out of the hopefuls, only eight will be chosen to join the show. Contestants will undergo challenges in all areas of creative business, which includes Innovation, Branding, PR and Teamwork. This business-skewed reality show is unique as it has no elimination rounds – instead contestants will be judged according to the points they earn per challenge. This benefits all eight contestants as they gain maximum exposure on all aspects of running a business.
The two main judges will be youth marketer extraordinaire Khailee Ng who is also co-founder of Youth Asia and Dzulkifly Aminuddin, Head of Enterprise and Young Professionals of DiGi’s Products and Segment Marketing. Hosting the show will be Hansen Lee. With guest judges from various fields joining Khailee and Dzul for the different challenges every week, the lucky eight will get expert advice and exposure.
The one and only elimination round will be held at the final episode, which will be telecast live in September 2010 where the winner of the final challenge will be revealed. For the final challenge, contestants will create and present a detailed proposal on their training from previous challenges.

For online video applications, register at http://www.ntv7.com.my/digithenextlevel/, submit a two- to five-minute original video presentation of your business pitch, and don’t miss the deadline! It closes on 15th April 2010. Your video submission should be either in AVI, MOV, MPEG, MP4 or WMV format. Make sure it includes an introduction of yourself, your background, and a brief description of your existing or future venture.
If interested to audition in person, mark your calendar for 10th April 2010, 10.00 a.m., Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya. Come with a filled application form, a passport size picture, a photocopy of your identification card and all materials you may need to assist you during your two- to five-minute pitch.
