Weekend Review: What Men Want

So there's the age old question women ask: "What Do Men Want?" And here are some answers I found through YouTube...

1) Games & Baseball



2) Women
As Seinfeld puts it simply in a video HERE--"Women know what men want and men know what men want, they want women!"

3) Old Spice
Yes, funnily enough, the Old Spice video popped up in the search list of what men want... Do men really want to smell like Old Spice? *shrugs* Or maybe they might want a like cat puss in boots?





So back to the question... What DO men want? Most videos I saw were of guys giving tips to girls on how to attract their attention but really isn't there more to what men want other than just games, baseball & women?

And it was precisely that question that led to the production of the reality series "What Men Want". We wanted to observe & see how these 6 men would go about their lives as they were made to live together for 3 months.

After watching the first episode, these are my impressions of the guys...

Fendi's a serious kind of person, someone who's very steady in life, especially in his career. He doesn't do things out of the ordinary but is predictable and very structured.

Narmi is a romantic kind of person. He's world is full of ups and downs like how you would read of in a fairytale, only his fairytale doesn't always have a happy ending.

Kit is a family kind of guy who loves his mother and girlfriend so much that he wouldn't risk anything to put them through hardships but wants to be able to provide for them.

Wolfie's the kid. Like he's they playful kind who can make girls laugh and the joker who can turn everyone's mood either up or down.

Gerrit is the kind of guy girls would would find mysterious & sexy, but his thoughts on what he wants remains a question.

And there's Ken, the guy who I never imagine existed. He listens to his girlfriend all the time, loves her to bits and even makes her breakfast! But seeing how he wants really simple things in life, I questionif those things are too simple...

Some men want a steady career, some want flings, some want to have a family and some just one to find that one true love. I realized that men, like women, are complex beings too. Thoughts can race through their minds and they can have moments of mixed feelings, anger, and frustration.

Ultimately I guess I want to know how each of these guys will change (if they do) after living together and seeing the other side of how things can be...

What Men Want premieres tonight (28/1) and airs every Saturday at 10pm!
