Techy Thursdays: Photography Apps

I'm an iPhone freak, and most of the time I use my iPhone to take pictures instead of my digital camera because I realized it was easier to take the picture, add a filter, edit and upload it straight from my phone to my social media network.

I'm the kind of person who loves cheap deals and I usually go for free apps instead of paid ones, so I'm gonna recommend these two photography apps, which are free, and does wonders for my photos: the Multi-lens Camera app & Photo Effect Studio app

1) Multi-lens Camera App:

Multi-lens Camera @ iTunes Store

Lately, I've been hooked on to making my photos into collages, combining different shots into one photo. I used to use an app called Frame Magic before but stumbled upon the Multi-lens Camera which essentially allows you to take a combination of up to 4 frames into one photo.

Sometimes when you put 2 or more pictures together, you get the problem of not being able to align the photo nicely because when you took it initially, you didn't think about how it would look like in a collage. With the Multi-lens Camera you won't have that problem because you're taking the picture frame by frame.

With this Outfit Of The Day #OOTD photo here, I took the left picture before proceeding to take the one the right. And, the great thing about this app is that there are various templates that are totally free to use, unlike some where you have to unlock and buy the full app in order to get the nicer stuff.

2) Photo Effect Studio App:

Photo Effect Studio @ iTunes Store

The second app I love is the Photo Effect Studio because it's like a combination of Adobe Photoshop & Instagram, all in one. You can edit the brightness, saturation, effects, and even add a border to your photos with this app. The filters include some familiar ones instagrammers always use like Nashville, Earlybird, etc. but what instagram doesn't have are things like dynamic light leaks, highlights and all that makes this app unique.

Here's the picture I took before with the Multi-lens Camera, and the right is how it looks like after I edited the brightness and added in the Dynamic Light effect.

With just two simple apps, you can create this sort of effect on your pictures too without having to be a super good photographer. If you like what you see, share & try the app out for yourself!
