Twitter just released a new logo with a simple concept that explains how their company intents to move forward with things...
Starting today you’ll begin to notice a simplified Twitter bird. From
now on, this bird will be the universally recognizable symbol of
Twitter. (Twitter is the bird, the bird is Twitter.) There’s no longer a
need for text, bubbled typefaces, or a lowercase “t” to represent
Twitter.
This quote, taken from the official twitter blog really tells how twitter is now a brand so strong and recognizable that they don't even need the word Twitter to represent it! Loving the confidence they have and the simplicity in what they do.
So Nintendo has just announced the release of the all new Wii U game console, which comes with an all new super cool Game Pad device. The new game pad comes with a touch screen, that can be used as a screen for Wii U games, even when your TV is turned off! Sounds exciting right?!
Well what's more, Nintendo has revealed almost 20 new games that are being developed for the Wii U and amongst that list are an all new Nintendo Land (which features a combination of our favourite Nintendo characters), games like Lego City, Batman, and an all new Super Mario Brothers U! Three cheers for Mario & Luigi :D
I mean, who doesn't love Super Mario right? And it's very exciting to see how Mario can now fly like a flying squirrel, how Yoshi bloates like a hot air ballon to help Mario stay out of harm and how there are so many new lands & levels to explore! I'm just hoping it's not going to cost a bomb if it ever gets released in Malaysia!
As our world becomes increasingly social, even games that are social tend to pick up more users compared to the past, that's why games like "Draw Something" becomes a hit almost instantly.
So I guess when the team producing the new SimCity came together, they saw the need to have the game not only be a solo player game, they saw the need to make it social as well. The all new SimCity will have to be played online whereby you can come together with other players to create regions and you can work together to better each other's cities or otherwise. Interesting right?
Also, the graphics look more promising and the game now has more elements that make it closer to how the real world would be like. There are different sorts of sims, from blue collars to white collars to even homeless sims. Other things in the new revamp include social issues like air pollution, water pollution and so on depending on the city's industrial works, kinda like real world issues we face.
The more I read about the new stuff in the game, the more I'm itching to try it out! I'm liking the idea of the social issues incorporated into the game, that means more unexpected situations and problem solving. Also, it's important to be able to balance the works in your city and be a good mayor. Reached the office this morning and instantly heard my name being called from another end. I turned over to see my colleague looking really eager, I wouldn't say she was excited though, she was more like eager to express how she felt about the new iPad, and it wasn't good.
So people have been swaying on both ends over whether the new iPad lived up to it's anticipation, and for those who like the all new resolutionary iPad, we had no qualms. The ones who expected a much thinner iPad with more built in and physical changes were however, greatly disappointed.

Google always surprises, with their launch of Google Goggles and now there's going to be a pair of Google Glasses too.

I'm an iPhone freak, and most of the time I use my iPhone to take pictures instead of my digital camera because I realized it was easier to take the picture, add a filter, edit and upload it straight from my phone to my social media network.

I was browsing through Mashable today and I happened to see all these articles about SOPA. I had a feeling it was something big, but never thought it would be this big.
Stop Online Piracy Act or SOPA is a bill that was handed to the United States House of Representatives which makes the sharing of intellectual property (IP) & counterfeit goods a crime. This means that websites that are said to facilitate copyright infringement can be handed court orders and could then be banned from working with online advertising networks, payment facilitators (like PayPal), and even search engines.
